- Where does the outdoor unit go?
- We place the outdoor unit on a solid pad or wall bracket in an open area with plenty of airflow. It needs clear space from roof overhangs, falling leaves, and heavy snow accumulation. We position it away from primary bedroom windows for quiet operation and elevate it to ensure water drains freely during winter defrost cycles.
- What maintenance can I do myself?
- You can keep your system running smoothly by checking and cleaning indoor air filters every month or two. Outside, clear away leaves, weeds, and snow accumulation from around the outdoor cabinet to maintain proper airflow.
