Heat Pump Rebates in BC: What Duncan Homeowners Can Claim
Duncan Heat Pumps helps you combine CleanBC's Energy Savings Program, worth up to $13,000 for an income-qualified electric-heated home, with up to $4,000 from the Home Renovation Rebate Program for electric baseboard conversions. Switching from oil, gas or propane is handled at Income Level 3, and qualifying installations in Duncan or North Cowichan receive a $350 municipal top-up. Replacing an existing heat pump does not qualify for any of these programs.

Which rebate do you qualify for?
CleanBC's Energy Savings Program provides up to $13,000 at Income Levels 1 and 2 for electric-heated homes, while oil, gas or propane conversions qualify under Income Level 3. The Home Renovation Rebate Program has no income test and pays up to $4,000 for an electric baseboard conversion. For an income-qualified electric-heated home, CleanBC rebates can reduce the cost of an $8,000 to $18,000 central ducted system by up to $13,000.
