Serving the Cowichan Valley
About Duncan Heat Pumps
Duncan Heat Pumps installs, services and repairs ductless and ducted heat pump systems across Duncan, North Cowichan and the Cowichan Valley, with every installation sized to the region's -6°C winter design temperature and filed with a Technical Safety BC electrical permit.
What we do
We install ductless mini-split and ducted heat pump systems, convert oil, gas, propane and electric baseboard heating over to a heat pump, and service and repair existing systems of any brand, whoever installed them. Every job starts with a heat-loss calculation on your home and a flat-rate written quote.
How we work
We size your system to a heat-loss calculation against Duncan's -6°C winter design temperature rather than matching whatever was there before. We check your electrical panel while we're there, we pull the Technical Safety BC electrical permit as part of the job, and we help you submit the rebate paperwork afterwards.
Our credentials
Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic is a compulsory trade in British Columbia, and our installers are licensed and insured under that requirement. We're registered under the CleanBC Energy Savings Program, which is what makes a rebate claim possible on the work we do.
Where we work
Duncan, North Cowichan, Chemainus, Cowichan Bay, Mill Bay, Cobble Hill, Shawnigan Lake and Lake Cowichan, across the Cowichan Valley.
